More than likely the forward hole with the screw in it is the one you will use. I have a ‘52 3100 with a ‘59 235 in it and I used the linkage for a ‘52 216. I needed to remove the screw and move the bell crank pivot forward.
The hole that the screw is presently in, is not blind so a sealant like Permatex #2 must be used to seal around the threads to keep it leak free.
