Did you keep the old parts? Put the old condenser back in and see what happens. If no change, put the points back in, and so on.
New condensers are mostly all made in China. They are absolute junk sometimes right out of the box. Contact Jon G on this site. He makes condensers with parts from Germany that will last 200,000 hrs. I have them in every vehicle I own.
I have another vehicle that was backfiring, missing, etc. Parts were all new. I thought the timing chain had jumped a tooth or something. Nope. new condenser failed in under 1000 miles. Same with another vehicle I own recently. Installed one of Jon's condensers and the improvement was immediate.
