I removed a 216 from my 53 3100 and installed a rebuilt 235 (55 model best I can tell) I purchased. The opening on this 235 is clearly larger at 1 1/2 inches vice the 1 1/4 inches on my old 216. Not seeing any variance in hose sizes on Jim Carter trucks or the Filling Station other than the lower hose which needs a larger opening at the water pump. Any suggestions or thoughts?
