I was attempting to install the door glass and after getting the glass fit into the felt, I tried to slide the glass up to the top to see how tight it is. Well I got it about half way up with a lot of effort and it wouldn't go any further. So I pulled it back out, hunted down the one old side glass piece I had and at the widest section where it goes into the glass support piece it is about 1/4" wider than the original. Is there someway to grind/sand down that section of glass without ruining it? Or do I need to take it to a glass shop. I bought all the glass pieces from Jim Carter. The windshield was cut wrong and they wouldn't do anything to help so I had the glass shop cut and install that piece to the tune of $350. The windshield glass was only $100 from J/C. Now the side glass is cut wrong and I see no reason to contact J/C as they were no help with the windshield. Any other options I might try before heading to the glass shop?
