This is the valve that diverts heater core back to engine vs into the core.
I am not sure why they are failing? Anyone have a guess other than terrible build quality?
1. Its a pinch joint that is o-ringed 2. Leaks when the engine is shut off and heat/psi build. 3. It is away from excessive heat. 4. 160 T stat. 5. Fans come on at 190 off at 180 6. Engine runs at 165-180 depending on the day/heat/load at speed 7. Running slow speeds or sitting it creeps normally and comes down easily with fans.
I see no reason for these to fail? | | |
