Welcome to the 'bolt. I had a 39 in similar condition as that. Except, mine had water where there was supposed to be oil and occasionally vicyversy.. If / when you tear it down, take lots of pictures. Bag and tag all the parts, bolts, nuts ect for what they go to.
It would be fun to see if it will run. Then see if it will stop before driving off. ect ect.
