Bill, would the 6 lug wheels not be a reliable indicator for a half ton? Perhaps GMCs had 6 lug 3/4 tons.
RonR What is left of my knowledge runs out with the pre-1947 models. Everything I come up with before that is just reading the Master Parts Book. And in this case the MPB shows two different diameter bolt circles that have 6 lugs.
