Anything 12 volts is either new (modern) or an old 6 volt radio converted to work on 12 volts. There are numerous options from cheap to very expensive. If you are a purist, the original radio (AM and 6 volts) is a must. If you just want a modern system then buy something that you can hide such as in the glovebox or under the seat.
