Has anyone encountered my slinger problem. I have a 56 235 and it has a slinger. My question, the slinger has a key slot but I have no key showing after I installed my new crank gear. The new crank gear is the same size as the old one. Did I maybe get the dampener key and crank gear key swapped? Are they different sizes? The gear is flush to the crank. can’t remember when I took it apart. Maybe the bottom goes toward the dampener? I can’t find pictures to help. Thanks for any help!
