Today I painted the little red stripe and the black base and clearcoat. I don't know how it came out I just finished it ten minutes ago. That little rack I made was my best idea. After a coat I stood there for 5 minutes and slowly turned the wheel to hopefully avoid any runs. The base looked good so I guess I can deal with it from there. The rack was really awesome for sanding. It's really sturdy.
