Heck no! Even without ethanol problems, that rubber is probably dried out and distorted. Buy the correct rebuild kit from Then and Now Automotive www.then-now-auto.com or send it to them to be rebuilt. You won't regret it.

Here's mine. Three years and 8000 miles later it's still going strong and runs on nothing but 87 deathanol.
