But I did the vent windows myself. Those I did by carefully tapping on the channel. I think you could do the same thing on your main windows. The Service Manual says to use a little 10W oil on the glass/setting tape interface so it slips in easier. Stand the window on a padded table and tap the rail in place with a soft hammer. Glass is surprisingly strong as long as you don't hit it with a sharp object.
On the driver's side, if the glass is tight in the rail, I'd just use it as-is.
