I use the concrete apron in front of my shop to sand blast on which presents several problems.

How to keep the sand out of the grass/gravel drive/landscape bed on three sides and more important, how to keep from blasting the doors on the garage?

I worked up some panels from 1" x .120 wall steel tube, plastic tarps, and bungee cords. I can store the panels up against the wall in the shop and put the tarps on a shelf with the bungee cords.

Wheel or carry the pieces out to the apron, set up the framework, install the tarps, haul the blaster and sand out, drag out the hoses, shut the big doors and blast away.

I've used it a couple of times and it takes 10-15 minutes to set up or tear down and it does a great job of containing the sand.

It also keeps some of the less 'car friendly' neighbors from asking to many questions.
