| | | | Joined: May 2015 Posts: 177 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2015 Posts: 177 | 39 and 40 are different in that the 39 has a flat dash and the 40 has the 40-46 dash. The windshield frame also added drain holes in 1940. The windshield crank was also mounted differently since the dashes were different. The 39-40 had straight vertical bars on the firewall. 41-46 has "X's". 41-46 was also about 1.5" longer to give passengers more legroom. The firewall stampings are the best giveaway on the 39-40 vs 41-46 in my opinion. | | |
