I think it’s still a worthwhile endeavor. Over the next decade or three, it’s going to take a fair bit of creativity and resourcefulness to keep these engines on the road. I’ve seen the supply of usable YF cores tighten up just in the 10-ish years I’ve owned my truck, and the prices reflect it.
