I’ve got a 1951 GMC 248, the spring for the intake heater is missing and I can’t seem to figure out the name of it or a part number. It’s the spring that moves the diverted for header heat into the intake manifold. Finger is pointing to where the spring goes in one picture.
I also am missing the bracket that holds the throttle cable that goes to the dash throttle knob. From my service manual it looks like it should be held in place by one of the machine screws that holds the carb together. Circled in red in the other picture. I could probably make one out of some sheet metal, but it would be great to get an original one.
Maybe I need to buy a master parts book, but the book is $70 on ebay.
Both parts and missing completely so I can’t really post a picture of them. Attached pictures of where they should be.
