Here is one above the starter. Looks like F38 - I cant seem to find anything behind the distributor.
F 3 8 decodes as F = June, 3 = 3rd day of the month, 8 = 1958 according to the resource info I have. That would coincide with the Block casting# ID as 1958-59. X2 for what Kevin indicated about the lack of a stamped serial number!
