The POR-15 clear top coat is nasty stuff, but very durable. I coated a set of aluminum wheels and they turned out fantastic, being I cannot find anyone close that clear powder coats.
And my project truck frame coated in black POR sat outside for a year in Montana and white chalky faded. A good coat of wax brought it back. It's underneath the truck, so Im not too particular.
