Back when my '48 was at 6-volts, I needed another flasher. Neither of the 2 I bought at a parts store worked right. So I went to our serve-yourself junk yard and took a flasher off one of their ADs. It worked fine for years until I went to 12-volts. I think the guy gave it to me free.
