| | | | Joined: Jul 2023 Posts: 48 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jul 2023 Posts: 48 | good day bolters- changing out gen to alternator- bypassing the ammeter for now- With the DA plug on the alternator it states taking the exciter wire to the coil or switch.
the ignition switch power is from the ammeter. elimination of the battery feed to ammeter. should i run a wire to the head/tail/park/dome/park/stop switch from battery ?
as far as the exciter wire, should i run to coil or switch? thanks for your help, Lynn
