I've chiseled out most of the caulk from around the windshield, and removed rhe regulator (which is in remarkable shape, except for the gears). It wasn't attached to the bracket on the windshield. The windshield moves out slightly when pushed out from the outside edges, but something seems to be holding it in the middle. I cannot see what it might be, and wonder if anyone knows, or can point to a diagram that would show the culprit. Thanks in advance.
