I haven’t been earning my keep around here lately so thought I’d share a few pictures of what I believe is a original stock Rochester B off my ‘51 3600, 216 engine truck. It had documented 43,000 miles when purchased from a small museum back in 2013. The 261 Rochester is from a engine that was in a ‘59 wrecker. The owner pulled the good (?) 261 and installed a 327 many years ago. Bought it from his son 5 years or so ago.

Just looking, I can’t tell them apart. The easy tell is the 261 carb’s manifold mounting holes are about 1/4” wider.
Also 50 is stamped on the 261 carb.

I’ll let the pictures do the talking. The 216 Rochester has the Id tag.
