The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Making a Stovebolt Bed '36 GMC T-14 - can use a '46 Chevy bed on it?

So I have a '36 T-14 and it came with some sort of aftermarket bed? like a service bed. Must weigh 4 or 5 hundred lbs. I have a bed off of a '46 pickup, do you guys think I can use it on my '36? I think it's about 2" wider than an original would be. The bed is in great shape and won't need a lot of work before paint.
