I have a 6v to 12v converter I am in the process of installing just to power a dash fan and add a cigarette lighter receptacle for phone charging. I am hesitant for some of the reasons already listed here to try and power a horn through one of these amplifiers. I am going to a large flea market this weekend. Maybe I will get lucky and find an original.
