How do you measure the fuel output with the engine idling? Do you run the engine with an electric pump with the mechanical one disconnected?
A manual I have for another car says to measure the pump volume of 9 squirts of the fuel pumpinto a jar while cranking. It should total 8oz. Is there a similar test on the pump that can be done with an AD truck?
