That pump in the picture is brand new and doesn't work at all. I posted it to show you that looks are deceiving. Here is the type of pump you want to find. Buy one and have it rebuilt by Then and Now Automotive www.then-now.com

Someone on this forum said they bought a glass bowl type pump from Jim Carter. I don't know if those are rebuilt originals or if they're new. I don't trust any of this new stuff anymore.

Test your fuel pressure at the carb.

Yes, these trucks are tough. I use mine a s a regular vehicle. I've put over 6000 miles on it in the last couple years.
