I just bought a 1941 Chevrolet long bed pickup. Pretty positive it's an original truck . I'm puzzled because it had 6 lug axles. Weren't longbed trucks rated at 3/4 ton amd hag 8 lug axles ?

Think i may have just figured it out…i just love this forum! vin # is AL and that a3/4 ton with 11” brakes. Are those the same as 1/2 brakes??
