Hello, I just acquired a 1946 Chevy 1 1/2 ton cattle truck. Needs a little work but it was still on the road just a few years ago. Brake seals are bad and the fuel pump may not be working. It does start with gas in the carb.
It's been a working truck on a small cattle ranch for many years. It has a dump bed and turn signals have been installed. Who knows how many miles. It appears to have a '53 engine in it.
Looking forward to learning what I can on here and sharing progress. I intend to take the racks off, just have a flatbed stake side and keep it fairly original. Deeper restoration... Who knows yet.
