The 80 cubic inch EVO engine on my Harley Davidson Soft Tail has a similar filter element, only it's almost twice as tall. If you stack three of those "closeout" filters on top of each other, they might flow enough air to avoid restricting the flow to a 235 engine. Running just one of them on a stovebolt will be the equivalent of driving with the choke closed about halfway.
