no - Chev and GMC had factory supplied flatdecks, and the rounded deck corners and double ribs were the design .... a "platform" model and a "stake" model, available in 3/4T and up, and all years I think
the "bare frame" was availabe as 'cowl & chassis' or 'windshield, cowl & chassis' and 'cab & chassis'
