GM# 3696830 which match up with the 1936-48 year range in Jim Carter's description for Huck brakes. My '39 thru '53 GMC (yeah, I know it isn't a Chevy, but I'm pretty sure the 1/2 ton brakes are the same) Master Parts Book shows that 3696830 spring and pin set used on all 1/2 ton Huck brakes.

'52 GMC 152 Stake Bed, Original 228, SM420, added A/C, HEI, disk front brakes, '67 Chev 3.55 rear gear. Gets used as a real truck.
