I have an original 1968 C10-60 Chassis Overhaul Manual (ST 134-68) given to me by fellow Bolter Wrenchbender Ret. that I looked at to see if the T170 specs were in there.

Unfortunately, for what ever reason the big truck differentials listed in the Torque Specifications list the designations as 15,000 and 17,000 Lb. Capacity (Two Speed) or 18,500 Lb. Capacity Eaton (Two Speed) and not by differential Model #. I'm just not familiar enough with these size trucks to know which is which. Perhaps one of our fellow Big Bolters can shed some light and confirm if one of these is the T170??? headscratch

Either way, attached below is a pic of the various differential "Specifications" with bolt torque info for all the listed rear ends. Hope it's of some help.

PS - If it is, the manual has the overhaul details that I could take pics of and post if needed. wink
