Is it feasible to fit a 1954 SM420 to a 1940 bell housing....... are there any adapter plates made to fit the different bolt pattern....... eyeballing it seems that only one bolt on the RH side is further out.
It is essential we keep the 1940 bell housing as it has the right hand drive clutch for the CMP. A smooth shifting 4 speed synchro would be so nice....
