I had to replace the rear main seal in my 1948 Chevy pickup, which has a 1954 235 out of a Belaire. In doing so, I had to remove the transmission and drop the crankshaft a little. Can someone tell me what the torque specs are for tightening the bolts on the main bearing caps? I've seen 100-110 ft/lbs, but want to make sure. That's what my manual shows for a 1949. I don't have any information on a 1954.
