What do you mean when you say you are adding a heater to an existing Harrison heater? One heater is plenty to heat up the small cab of a pickup. I have one of those basic recirculating heaters and it heats up the cab in the coldest weather (teens) and gets it so hot I have to turn it off sometimes.

$230 is pretty steep, too. I bet you could find a used one somewhere for much less.
