WE b OLD there was a little more 'patina' than I would have liked,daily driving it all year round in Scotland had taken its toll.
The lower cowl sections were the worst with some perforation on the inner fender wells of the cab not helped by the POR-15 shambles.
I ended up replacing the entire LH cowl section,thankfully they are now available with the correct vent for 47-50 trucks although the fit was very poor. The radius where the hood meets it was shockingly bad,thankfully my body guy was on top of it.Here's a picture during the final flat and polish process.
