So help me verify if this is just a replacement engine in my 1937 GC. The block casting appears to be a 39 number if my book is correct, but the K prefix on the serial number would be a 37 number? Maybe stamped to match the old numbers? They look like they are carelessly hand stamped or is this common from the factory?
