I am leaning toward some 3/16" or 1/4" thick black rubber and some sort of metal strips screwed over the rubber around the edges, both cab and sleeper side. I will also need some sort of sealant to seal the rubber to the cab and sleeper.
It is really a pretty poor design, the way the cab and sleeper were cut out leave plenty of places for water to get in unless a really good sealer is used.
