Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2007 Posts: 88 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2007 Posts: 88 | my 53 6400 mounts were a mess the front bottom center had turned to jelly and was not bolted to the eng. bracket. there were to front side torque stuts (built from all thread 3/8-16 double nutted to the frame with rubber bushings and washers at the eng. bracket there are no trany mounts metal to metal . I bought a new front center mount put it in and drilled and bolted it to the eng. bracket than I got rid of the allthread and used sway bar link kits with urathane bushings top and bottom looks and works great the rear trany mounts are a diff. story everbody says (parts guys and chassis books) that there is only one style so I bought that style NO GO any body ever see anything diff that what all the resto shops are selling | | |
