Condolences to the young patriot's family. He was one of 200 young people these days who were willing to put aside their personal lives, career plans, and other concerns to stand in defense of our freedom. Back in my father's B-17 flying days that number was 11%, and by my time in the 1970's it was down to 3%. My grandson was one of the 1/2 of 1% of his peers to make that choice. Somehow it seems we might be heading in the wrong direction!
