I actually taped my phone on valve cover and videoed. Then put orange masking tape on edges of hinges to find the rub. Ground off a bit, but still feels like a hard stop. Can’t force or bounce it down any further or I’m guessing the hood would bend.
Hinge to firewall hood holes are round and spaced a bit different than original oval holes.
