Can these be original or a common add on back in the day? Both my 58-59 panel trucks had the same arm rest with ashtray, mounted on the drivers door. One is in good shape but the other is dry rotted pretty bad. Can this be fixed? I don`t smoke but for an armrest, it is better that what offered as far as distance from the door.
