I have a '54 3100 that I’ll be installing the running boards soon. I’m doing a full restoration on the truck. I was wondering if anyone puts some type of an isolator between the bottom of the running boards and the top of the brackets they mount to? I don’t think they had anything there originally. Maybe over thinking. Just easier to do something now than later. Thanks.
