Like Gord&Fran said... take it off, dump out the gas, clean the mounting flange real good and look for a number. That would be the model #. It was stamped then the surface was planed flat so it may not be visible without a good cleaning.
Also... not all flanges were stamped.
Get a pic of the carb and the inside of both halves. Get the # off of the little brass plug inside. Should be 58 for a 235.
