Thanks Jon. The diaphragm is bad the old glass top pump and needs to be rebuilt, in the meantime, I was hoping to use the AC 12 V electric that I know works that I have just sitting on the shelf until I am able to get a hold of a good kit and overhaul it. Here at altitude in Colorado I know electric is more dependable than diaphragm pumps that vapor lock. I had an old Dodge van that notoriously would leave me stranded before I put on an electric. It would always require a 15 minute nap and then be fine again. When I get back to it I’ll just give it a try and see how it goes and try your suggestions.
