I ended up buying a parts truck from Nebraska that had 6 one piece steel rims, haven't wrapped them in rubber yet. This winter I'll have the rims powder coated. From that parts truck I used the front and rear leaf springs, front spring hangar mounts and will end up using the two front fenders and other sheet metal. Also the axles on the parts truck are in much better condition than mine. Being in the salt/rust belt is no joke, my truck is a very rusty and pitted. My truck has family history, more a labor of love than anything else, that is the only reason I'm spending this much time and energy on it.
I ended up cutting the dump box off mine. I saved the hoist mechanism and will end up building a flat bed for it. Not much use for a dump truck be a flat/steak bed will come in handy.
