Jim: My 39-53 (not 54 like yours) book does not show the copper washer nor does it list a 8.0955. Your book is better than mine.


But none of this is helping Davie figure out what the second part is for. I'll check with the guys on OldGMCtrucks and see if they recognize it.

Davie: I'm guessing the unidentified part is about 5/16" OD and 3/4" long?
