So i got a clutch kit from my FLAP. Put it in ( with the clutch plate properly oriented) as well as the transmission. I tightened it cross-wise so equal pressure. Linkage was hooked up but clutch wouldn’t work. Took trans, pressure plate and clutch disk out. Double checked the disk- it was oriented correctly. Looked more closely at the pressure plate. Seems that the “fingers” are higher than the original one. Also, the clutch disk had 5 springs instead of 6 on the original. Could this be a car pressure plate/clutch setup? If so, would this explain why it does not work.
