So, if I understand you correctly you have a Title that matches a newer non-original serial number plate and it lists the truck as a 1946.
Does the new plate say it was issued by a State or is it a generic plate you can buy off the internet? Post a picture...
The original serial number plate is still in place...what's that number? Does it confirm the truck was born in 1946?
What's the engine serial number (stamped on the flat machined surface next to the distributor)? Does it confirm the engine was born in 1946?
