He is showing how to replace a dist. in a Jeepster. I believe it had an AMC V-8 engine. After removing the cap & wires he picked the old one up & set the new one down in. "Make Shure it drops all the way down" which it did. I used to wish it was that easy. 24 out of 25 times they do not mesh with the oil pump without turning the engine. He did not say anything about lining up the position of the rotor.
